"The Petite House of Learning " is a language school that offers a comprehensive and enriching learning experience. Our clases and activities focus on developing listening, speaking, writing and reading, supported by experienced instructors who foster self-confidence. In addition, we provide valuable tips and resources to immerse yourself in the culture of the language studied, professional development workshops, teaching materials, personalized advice, and the opportunity to share best practices. Our mission is to inspire our students and teachers to achieve proficiency in the language and better understand its culture through quality education and dedicated support. Emmanuel Protin

Teacher - Director

Manu Protin is a qualified language teacher who has worked for over 25 years in various secondary schools, preparatory schools, universities and Alliances Françaises in France, England and Mexico. His extensive experience has allowed him to develop his own teaching style and method based on dynamic interactions, conversational questions and French-speaking culture. Throughout his career, Manu has held positions with different responsibilities, such as mentor for PGCE [Postgraduate Certificate in Education] students and new “NQT” [New Qualified Teachers] teachers, Language Department Coordinator and Head of Secondary Campus and high school at an international school, which made him acquire various skills as a teacher, educator and leader.

Victoria Guerrero

Teacher

Victoria Guerrero is a graduate of the Lancaster School, and from an early age she began to speak fluent English thanks to the teaching of foreign teachers.
She has two years of experience teaching adults and children of all levels.

May Fogarty-Stevens

Teacher

May is from Eastbourne, England. She is visiting Mexico during her gap year to work at the Petite House of Learning and improve her Spanish. May has experience working as a tutor and summer camp activity leader. In September 2025, she will begin studying Law and French at the University of Bristol.
